Properties: Without odour and poison. Specific gravity: 1.08-1.19. Easily soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate; soluble in benzene ethanol, slig－htly soluble in carbon tetrachloride; insoluble in water and gasoline.

Appearance :               White or greyish white powder

Initial melting point °C               144.0°C min.

Heating loss %                       0.30 max.

Ash %                              0.40 max.

Residue on 150 mesh                 0.1 max.

 

Used: Generally used for natural and synthetic rubbers. Not suitable for latex. Mainly used in manufacture of tires,rubber boards, rub－ber shoes and other technical rubber goods
